Brits Happy as Andy Murray Beats Novak Djokovic in Wimbledon Finals
(LONDON) -- Andy Murray pulled out a win against Novak Djokovic on Center Court at Wimbledon Sunday.
No British man has won this tournament since Fred Perry triumphed in 1936, 77 years ago. Today’s date? 7/7.
Murray made it to the Wimbledon finals last year, but lost to Roger Federer.
Djokovic is a week younger than Murray - both are 26. Murray's first big tournament win was the US Open last year.
Djokovic has won six major tournaments, including Wimbledon and the 2011 US Open.
