Britney's Team 'Pushing Hard' for Planet Hollywood Deal
(LAS VEGAS) -- A Britney Spears residency in Las Vegas is moving ever closer to reality. E! Online reports that a deal that would see the singer performing at Planet Hollywood is "definitely happening."
A source tells E! News, "Everyone in her team wants it. They think it will be the best thing for her to happen soon" and "are pushing hard for it to happen soon."
Another source, meanwhile, tells E! that once the deal is done, Britney won't have the same "intense schedule" that other Vegas headlining acts have. For one thing, she has no plans to move to Sin City, because she wants to keep her kids in Los Angeles. "It's going to be an in and out thing...a limited number of engagements over a year," dishes the source.
Apparently, the Vegas talks have been going on "for a long time," but were put on hold while Britney was a judge on X Factor. Now, says the source, "Everything has sped up again."
If the deal with Planet Hollywood goes through, Britney won't be the only singing star with reality show judging experience with a residency at the hotel and casino. Cee Lo Green's show, Cee Lo Is Loberace, debuts there Feb. 27.
