"Thor: The Dark World" Tops Weekend Box Office with $38.5 Million
(LOS ANGELES) -- Superhero flick Thor: The Dark World led the weekend box office once again, bringing in $38.5 million between Friday and Sunday.
Although it kept its first-place spot from last weekend, the earnings for the Chris Hemsworth action film slipped. Last week, in its opening weekend, Thor: The Dark World earned over $85 million.
In second place at this weekend's box office was The Best Man Holiday, which earned $30.6 million. This was the opening weekend for the comedy/drama, which stars Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut.
