"Godzilla" Earns $93 Million in Opening Weekend

Warner Bros.(LOS ANGELES) -- Godzilla roared into theaters in its opening weekend.

The remake took in an estimated $93 million at the box office.

Godzilla earned the second largest opening weekend of 2014, following the Captain America: The Winter Soldier opening in April.

The sci-fi action movie stars Aaron Johnson, Ken Watanabe, and Elizabeth Olsen.

Neighbors came in second at the box office with $26 million, while The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ranked third with $16.8 million.
