"Glee" Star Dot-Marie Jones Engaged to Longtime Girlfriend
(ANAHEIM, Calif.) -- Disneyland really is the “happiest place on Earth,” or at least it was this past Friday.
Glee star Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste, proposed to her longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen near Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
Casteen was so excited about the engagement that she tweeted on Friday, “Thank you @dotmariejones for making me the happiest woman in the world. #engaged.”
The happy couple were at the park as part of the Anaheim Gay Days.
Jones, 49, was also thrilled and told Advocate.com after Casteen said “yes” that it was the happiest day of her life.
“I never thought I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind,” she told the website. She also tweeted a pic of her and Casteen with the caption, “SO HAPPY!!”
The couple will have been together three years in December.
