"Diff'rent Strokes" Actor Conrad Bain Dead
NBC TV/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Actor Conrad Bain, best known for his portrayal as Phillip Drummond on Diff'rent Strokes, has died, People reports. He was 89.
Bain passed away on Monday in Livermore, Calif., where he had been living in a local retirement community.
Bain starred in many popular sitcoms, including Maude, The Love Boat and The Facts of Life, but gained notoriety thanks to Diff'rent Strokes, starring opposite Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges.
Bain leaves behind his wife, Monica Sloan, along with four children and his twin brother, Bonar Bain.
