Judge Rules Illinois' Pension Law Unconstitutional

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - An Illinois judge has ruled that a law intended to fix the nation's worst state employee pension crisis violates the state Constitution.

State to Refund Retiree Health Care Money

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - The state will refund money to about 75,000 state retirees who've been paying a portion of their pensions for health insurance over the last year and a half after a court hearing in Sangamon County.
