A 31-year-old Cisne man, Randall Stringfield, posted bond after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies overnight for alleged driving under the influence.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate several vehicle thefts in the Walnut Hill area.  A car reported stolen by Alisha Murphy of Sessor from a home she was visiting on the Burge Road sometime before Sunday morning was found abandoned and undamaged at the Medlin and Bernard Road yesterday.  On Saturday, a stolen car was located abandoned at the end of Burge Road.  Meanwhile, Terry Alvis of McNeilly Road reported the ignition of his vehicle damaged when someone apparently tried to steal it.
