No Signs of Economic Downturn at Centralia Fall Festival Craft Show
11/2/09 @ 1:32:28 pm

There were no signs of economimc downturn at the Centralia Recreation Complex on Saturday. The facility played host to a Craft Show and Flea Market as part of the 2009 Fall Festival.

At least 13-hundred vistors to the Craft Show walked the booths and quite a few weren't leaving empty handed. Vendors sold everything from clothing to table lamps and crafts to food. Angela Schnake, a vendor with Tastefully Simple foods says her items sold very well. "It's been a wonderful day," she says. "I cam with three boxes and a whole suitcase and I'm down to little or nothing." Schnake also says she won't be the only one with an easy trip back to the car with a lot less to carry. "My sister sells Southern Living at Home and she's done an excellent job too."

Visitors were still coming to check out the items as the show was ending at around 3 o'clock. Multiple vendors were down to near-bare tables by that time, making the Craft Show and Flea Market one of the most popular features of this year's Centralia Fall Festival.
